Query: Matter Big
Bang... At the time of big bang no matter existed in Cosmos! In absence of matter... the size of entire cosmos
reduced to the size of half a thumb!
Kaivalya Jnani:
Yes, there was a predetermined
quantity of matter at the time of big bang. And the matter in question was the size of half a thumb. And what is
this half the size of a thumb?
Before discussing the theory of
big bang I need to clarify the following -
About 3600 years before came
Lord Krishna, thousand years later followed Mahavira; about 77 years later came Gautama Buddha. About 423 years
later followed Jesus Christ and then prophet Mohammed.
Lord Krishna came about 1500
years before Jesus Christ. He is considered an Avatar (God manifest in human form) compared to Jesus Christ who is
a man god (a human God).
It was Lord Krishna who gave the doctrine of Bhagavad Gita in the battle of
Mahabharata. Bhagavad Gita explicitly clarifies the size of the whole Cosmos (before the big bang) being half the
size of a thumb. And what does this mean?
The big bang can only occur when the dissolution of the whole cosmos takes
place. When the whole cosmos dissolves... it reduces to half the size of a thumb. This half the size of a thumb is
the sum of all purified souls atmans in the Cosmos at the time of dissolution of the Cosmos.
At the time of dissolution of the Cosmos... every single soul atman in the Cosmos reaches the stage of
enlightenment and finally salvation. It is only then all souls atmans in the cosmos gain absolute purity and come
back to their original pristine form. It is the collection of all these purified souls atmans which forms half the
size of a thumb.
This massive power (which has been defined as God Almighty) unable to contain
itself for long explodes with a big bang and starts a new cosmos... a new beginning!
Everything is crystal clear... we only need to fathom the depths of Scriptural
texts with an unbiased attitude! Bhagavad Gita... the most sacred Scripture available on Mother Earth is
infallible. The truth contained within is the absolute truth of life. To digest or not to digest is our sole
prerogative!
