Meaning of Moksha
Hindu meaning
of moksha is explicitly detailed in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
As per Bhagavad Gita... moksha in Hinduism means gaining salvation...
reaching end of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation...
when free from all karma... a soul atman regains its original prime
pure pristine primordial form (a soul is termed atman in Hinduism)!
Hinduism moksha
indicates our soul atman finally liberating self from cycle of birth
and death forever! Hinduism moksha spells end of cosmic life for
a soul atman. Ever since a soul atman started its cosmic sojourn...
the goal of life always remained reaching cosmic end of life...
8.4 millionth manifestation when human beings reached stage of enlightenment
(kaivalya jnana)!
Hinduism moksha
can only be reached after gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)...
never otherwise! Salvation as understood in West is a flawed concept...
the prime reason why after Jesus Christ no one reached stage of
enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! In a nutshell only an enlightened
one reaches stage of Hindu moksha!
Moksha announces
release from all that is ephemeral! One finally crosses world of
Samsara (worldly life) forever before reaching stage of salvation
moksha! For reaching moksha... understanding teachings contained
in Bhagavad Gita are necessitated! In absence of teachings of Bhagavad
Gita... none world over can become an enlightened one ever!
No matter how
best one tries in Christianity... none can reach stage of enlightenment
or salvation without assimilating pearls of wisdom contained in
Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is one such
document which contains absolute purity in terms of spirituality!
All 700 shlokas verses are full of jnana (wisdom)!
For becoming an enlightened one... for reaching end of cosmic life
we need establishing absolute control over five senses and mind.
Furthermore practice of absolute celibacy for a minimum period of
12 years in continuation is necessitated! This practice of absolute
celibacy for a period of 12 years in continuation leads to full
awakening of kundalini energy!
The moment this
happens... Shahastra Pushpa (thousand petaled Lotus) located within
our brain behind the forehead opens fully. One finally gains omniscience...
becomes an enlightened one! The opening of Shahastra Pushpa announces
our brain becoming hundred percent active. In normal circumstances
99% part of brain lay dormant.
Albert Einstein
the famous physicist was the only scientist who used his brain 4%!
Enlightened ones after reaching stage of enlightenment used their
brain hundred percent. The complete wisdom of cosmos is now available
at our tips... we finally became the knower of all... gained omniscience
for all practical purposes!
The stage of Moksha is not that easily achieved. For reaching stage
of enlightenment God Almighty ordained a journey in human form totaling
1.1 million manifestations (an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million
years)... a long journey indeed! To reach stage of moksha in a limited
time span of 70 to 80 years of earthly sojourn... is nothing short
of a miracle!
How difficult
attaining stage of moksha is... in the last about 150 years amongst
7 billion people existing world over... only two persons reached
stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
and Maharishi Ramana! These two spiritual stalwarts in their lifetime
followed path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) to reach stage of
enlightenment and finally moksha (salvation)!
The moment an
enlightened one leaves mortal frame... the liberated soul atman
finally enters kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)! Vaikuntha...
abode of God is a point of no return! Once having entered Vaikuntha...
the liberated soul atman remains there until eternity (that is until
dissolution of cosmos occurs... termed Pralaya in Hinduism).
Every soul atman manifests human form to work out its karma and
reach stage of moksha... liberation (also termed Mukti in Hinduism)!
As a human being it is our utmost duty to follow dictates of our
soul atman. Only by traveling spiritual path... only by indulgence
in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism can we reach stage of moksha...
never otherwise!
Path of Neti
(not this, not this) as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana
is a sure shot method for reaching God in present life time. Gaining
enlightenment in simpler terms means reaching God Almighty! Neti
practiced in Shavasana pose of yoga is the path I followed in life.
In 1993 at 37 years of age I finally reached end of cosmic life...
the 8.4 millionth manifestation!
