Life in Heaven
(no heaven - no swarga)

Life in heaven is spiritual because bodily none can reach the heaven. Heaven exists within the core of the sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade. No soul atman can survive in temperatures less then that. Our soul atman primarily is a spirit... a source of boundless energy. None can see the soul atman within the heart. We can only feel its presence.

When the mortal body dies every soul atman immediately tries to manifest a new body. If matching parents are available it manifests one. If matching parents are not available it hibernates in heaven provided the residual balance of karma is positive! A negative balance of karma earns a seat in hell. Heaven is an interim stage in the cosmic life cycle of a soul atman.

No soul atman can directly go to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism) from the kingdom of heaven. Every soul atman has to finally gain the form of a human being... seek enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha). It is only then the soul atman liberates forever from the cycle of birth and death and goes to the kingdom of God... a point of no return!
