We Simply Die
(Inevitable death - life after death)

Query: We Simply Die...

Kaivalya Jnani:
No... It is not like that! In fact... no one dies! In the death of the body... only the garment, the coat of the soul atman within the body gets changed. Death of the body announces that time has come for our soul atman within to manifest a new body... a new life journey altogether!

The next manifestation shall not be in any way connected with the previous ones. In the cosmic system of God Almighty, no two manifestations are ever connected. If we are a cobbler in this life... dependent on our residual balance of karma... we may manifest the next form in the house of a king... we might be born a prince!

In the cosmic domain of things... everything is governed by the doctrine of karma. As we perform so shall we get... nothing less or more! Mere wishes and desires carry no meaning in the cosmic system. The prime reason why many prayers fail! If we desire to reach a certain status in life... we need to perform accordingly. We cannot expect mangoes to grow on a guava tree!

Most people in life simply desire or wish for things... all the while carrying out karma that is contrary to the effects of their desire. In the circumstances... can such people be ever expected to reach the goal of their life?

I may be born in the house of a cobbler... yet, if I desire to marry the Princess of the state, my karma has to be accordingly. Nothing is impossible in the cosmic system. We just need to perform the requisite karma and take control of destiny.

Death is part of the cosmic system. Nothing is born unless something dies. Our soul atman within manifests a total of 8.4 million life forms until it reaches the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism). Does this mean there shall be 8.4 million deaths... yes, the cosmic system is so!

In the process of evolution one dies, again takes rebirth... again dies and takes rebirth. The cosmic cycle goes on and on. Our soul atman within goes on manifesting life after another until it liberates from the cycle of birth and death forever. That is possible when a human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

In the cosmic system of things nothing ever dies. The principle is similar to changing of guards at Buckingham Palace. After an earthly sojourn of 70 to 80 years... our soul atman within manifests new life. On the earthly domain family cries for the bereaved soul... in the cosmic system, life moves on without any full stops.

Whenever we clean our house... we throw out matter that is already dead and bring in the new. It may be a broken pot of flower. We never grieve for long for the broken pot... we replace it with a new one. Our soul atman within never grieves for the dead body... the body but decays and dies. As soon as matching parents are available on Mother Earth... our soul atman within again manifests a body. The cosmic life cycle moves on.
