Spirituality is that essence of life in absence of which humanity carried no value! Primarily... we are all spiritual beings... spiritual consciousness on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations... an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years! In our cosmic sojourn as a soul atman... we reached cosmic end of life when human beings gained enlightenment!

Human beings reaching stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) announces the end of cosmic journey! After gaining enlightenment... the enlightened one finally attains salvation (moksha)! The liberated soul atman finally entered kingdom of God (termed Vaikuntha in Hinduism)! All dross impurities within soul atman having removed forever... need for a new body now ceased to exist!

For undertaking spiritual journey... Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is the foremost of all sacred scriptures existing on mother earth! In absence of Bhagavad Gita no human being on mother earth can gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)! All man gods like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and prophet Mohammed reached stage of enlightenment after indulgence in Bhagavad Gita... never otherwise!

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is the summum bonum of spirituality... the epitome of spiritual pursuit! All the 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita are full of wisdom... truth but only truth! The original gist of Bhagavad Gita is available for mere $.60 (rupees 30/=) at most railway stations of India or directly from Bhagavad Gita press, Gorakhpur, India!

Yet, most human beings world over failed to realize the essence of Bhagavad Gita! The contents of Bhagavad Gita... the teachings of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally. It needs reading in between the lines! For traveling uncharted path of spirituality we need to dive deep into bottomless pit of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita... we have no other recourse!

In present times we need not refer to Vedas (Hinduism revelations) of which Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda are primary! With the coming of Lord Krishna essence of all four Vedas was now available to mankind in form of Vedanta (also termed Bhagavad Gita)! The doctrine of Bhagavad Gita given to mankind by Lord Krishna is an unparalleled document!

The end goal of every human being is gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)! Whether we do it now in present manifestation or leave it for future manifestations is dependent on us. Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now!

The spiritual journey is not that easily covered, prime reason why in last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only two persons reached stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... the revered Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! Both these spiritual stalwarts reached end of cosmic life in their lifetime via path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom).

If we desire knowing anything about spirituality... the spiritual path... the spiritual journey... understanding the underlying meaning contained in various essays articles on this website is advocated! The more we read... the more we contemplate... higher realms of spirituality do we invoke! Essence of spirituality lay not in gaining anything but removing the dross impurities within our soul atman!

Jnana (wisdom) was necessitated to remove the dross impurities within our soul atman... never otherwise! Ever since a soul atman started its cosmic journey it got mired in impurities. It is only through the complex process of karma every soul atman reduced dross impurities within slowly, step-by-step... manifestation after manifestation... body after body!

Journey in human form is the most pleasant experience for a soul atman! Only in human form our soul atman finally reaches cosmic end of life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! Assisting our soul atman in reaching cosmic end of life is the ultimate goal of life on mother earth. Mesmerized by glare of materialistic riches most human beings pursued the path prompted by their ego!

For reaching stage of enlightenment establishing absolute control over five senses and mind is necessitated! Practising absolute celibacy for a period of 12 years in continuation is another necessity. God Almighty does not permit shortcuts on the path of pure spirituality!
