Spirituality is following the dictates of the spirit within us. The spirit within us... our soul atman within the heart is the real crux of life. It has manifested the body and not vice versa.

Our soul atman is on its cosmic journey. To reach the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana in Hinduism) and finally salvation (moksha in Hinduism)... the soul atman is required to manifest a maximum of 8.4 million life forms. Liberation from the cycle of birth and death is the ultimate goal of every soul atman within.

Knowing our inner self is spirituality. Merging our real self with the greater self, the Almighty God is spirituality. Spirituality means dissolving our ego and removing the dross from within the soul. Devoid of the impurities within... our soul atman regains back its pristine glorious form.

Bhagavad Gita the sacred doctrine by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata is one single document knowing which one gains enlightenment and finally salvation. Knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes omniscient and gaining salvation reaches the kingdom of God (Vaikunth in Hinduism).

Spirituality is traveling the uncharted path. Spirituality means being absolutely truthful in all affairs of life. Spirituality means traveling the path taken by Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed. All became man gods in the end.
