Yes, as one proceeds on the spiritual path... the Love for mankind and all living things goes on increasing. Why? Is it because we become more aware of the in bonding between the various life forms and the mankind or is it that we become more aware of our real self within... our soul atman residing within our heart.

As one proceeds towards gaining enlightenment... the final stage in the cosmic life cycle of a soul atman... the 8.4 millionth manifestation when one having gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) takes salvation (moksha) and goes to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism)... the awareness that we all living beings are part of one cosmic system... are brothers and sisters in the cosmic journey of life... finally comes to roost!

One ultimately realizes that every soul atman is the real truth... the bodily forms of amoeba (single cell formation... the first manifestation), multi-cell formation, insect life, plant life animal life and the form of a human being... only being manifestations for the soul atman within.

To purify itself of the impurities within (the dross within)... the soul atman on its cosmic journey was required to manifest these life forms. Realizing that we all are part of one cosmic whole is reaching the end of life!

Spirituality is that subtle truth of life in absence of which no living being can survive. It is pure spirituality that makes one aware of the spiritual awakenings on the spiritual path. Reaching the end of life... gaining enlightenment is the cosmic goal fixed by God Almighty.

Every form of life shall gain enlightenment in the 8.4 millionth manifestation come whatever may... doing it now in the present manifestation is becoming a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed in this life itself.
