Self realization is traveling the spiritual path. Every human being has
two facets of life. The physical manifest form controlled by five senses and the mind that craves for wanton
desires and materialistic riches. Our spiritual being... the real self of us governed by our soul atman
within! None can go astray.
Spirituality and the physical manifested life are two sides of the same
coin. Both coexist and none defies the other. One may be absolutely materialistic in nature yet; the spark of
spirituality existing within us in form of our soul atman residing in our heart always helps us differentiate
right from wrong. To act or not to act is the sole prerogative of every human
being.
On the contrary we may live a pure spiritual life... yet, we venture into
the domain of materialistic wants as the empty stomach prompts us for it. Unless one completely burns ones
karma, we never get absolved from the physical manifested phase of life. Gautama Buddha tried that but
failed. He tried leading a pure spiritual life without having burnt his karma in totality... he failed to
achieve much wandering in the deep dense forests (jungles).
Those on the path of pure spirituality and self realization must
establish absolute control over the five senses and the mind. Only then our karma gets burnt in totality.
Having absolved ourselves of any balance karma... one finally reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi and
gains enlightenment.
Seeking self realization is a long journey indeed. Right from the stage
of first manifestation as an amoeba (single cell formation) and until the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the
crux of every cosmic life is gaining enlightenment. No matter what... every living form gains enlightenment
(Kaivalya Jnana) and finally salvation (moksha in Hinduism) in the 8.4 millionth manifestation.
Having come to the cosmic end of life... one gains entry to the abode of
God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism)! This is a point of no return. Having reached the kingdom of God (Vaikunth in
Hinduism)... no purified soul atman can return on a life supporting planet to manifest life again. Having
purified forever... this soul atman remains in abode of God (Vaikunth in Hinduism) until dissolution of
cosmos takes place.
As human beings alone there are 1.1 million manifest stages of life. Does
this mean after having taken birth as a human being we are required to travel the spiritual path for a period
of 12.1 million earthly years before one reaches stage of enlightenment (Kaivalya Jnana). Yes... the truth is
so!
In whatever stage of life a human being may be... one is permitted to cut
short the journey and gain enlightenment at every level of human life. It has the sanction of God Almighty. I
started in search of God when 11 years of age. At 37 yrs of age... I realized God in the present life.
Amongst 1.1 million manifest stages... in whatever stage I may have been... I reached the end of my cosmic
life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation!
Cutting across the shackles of physical manifested life... gaining
absolute control over the five senses and the mind is really tough indeed... The prime reason why God
destined this journey to be completed in 12.1 million earthly years! Before we embark on the journey of
gaining self realization... one thing is made absolutely clear! In the domain of God and souls atmans...
there is no relationship with anyone whatsoever!
Every soul atman in whole Cosmos is an independent entity. As we proceed
on the path of pure spirituality... all relationships are left behind. We need to cut across the shackles of
attachment bondage (aka Moha in Hinduism)... and starts the most testing time of life.
Those whom we call our own... the wife, children, the elders in the
family become strangers to us. We intend to follow the path of spirituality... not they! We understand that
family bonding was but an ephemeral phase in the life of a human being. For those who do not fathom the death
of our wisdom... who shall explain to them that we are intent upon leaving the garb of a human being
forever!
For those who strictly follow the spiritual path understand that the
human body itself is a garb... an outer covering for the soul atman within. For our soul atman within to get
liberated forever from the cycle of birth and
death... we need bid goodbye forever from our near and dear ones.
Truthfulness in all affairs concerned is the most important ingredient on
the path of pure spirituality. In practical life practicing absolute truthfulness is almost next to
impossible... In the circumstances how does one sustain a living! Balancing between the two is the Agni
pariksha one faces almost daily in life.
Traveling the path of pure spirituality demands highest level of
truthfulness! Absolute control over the five senses and the mind can be established the moment we start
practicing absolute truthfulness in day-to-day affairs of life. Practicing meditation yoga are secondary
aspects of life. What use doing meditation yoga if we are not truthful to ourselves and god.
God Almighty is all the time watching us. A minuscule part of God
Almighty is always present in every living being as the soul atman within our heart. Whenever we tend to go
wrong... the sweet small voice of our soul atman within prompts us to go on the right path. It is this power
of soul atman that guides us in the spiritual journey of life.
To hear this sweet small voice of our soul atman within... we need to
travel the path of absolute truthfulness. Only then one can follow the dictates of our soul atman within.
Self realization is removing the duality that exists between our soul atman within and the body.
The day we recognize that our soul atman within the body is the real
essence of us and body was merely a garment that helped in purification of the soul atman within... we reach
the stage of self realization that very moment.
All types of meditation techniques, all forms of yoga have only one goal
in common... realize self at the earliest. And to realize this self we need to start on the journey
practicing absolute truthfulness. As we proceed on the spiritual path... we need to practice absolute
celibacy for a continuous minimum period of 12 years. It is essential for full Kundalini awakening to
occur.
Self Realization: No matter what... every living form gains
enlightenment and finally salvation in the 8.4 millionth manifestation!
The Shahastra Pushpa existing within our brain opens the moment full
awakening of Kundalini occurs. This leads one to enlightenment (Kaivalya Jnana) and finally salvation (moksha
in Hinduism) in the present life. One for all practical reasons becomes omniscient reaching the stage of
Nirvikalpa Samadhi.
In a nutshell, practicing truthfulness all along we need to transgress
the boundaries of senses and the mind. Practicing Neti and celibacy we ultimately reach the stage of
Nirvikalpa Samadhi... a stage when one can have a dialogue with God on one-to-one basis and that too
permanently.
Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi means reaching the cosmic end of
life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! It is the end of life for our soul atman within. Further onwards...
our soul atman within would not have to manifest any further body.
