Query: Being
Spiritual.... is unveiling hidden truths of life as per Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism!
Kaivalya
Jnani:
As a human being we have two facets of life. One pursuing the physical
manifested itself... the physical body that lives for approximately 70 to 80 years and the other our real
self... our soul the atman within that exists within our
heart.
The ultimate crux of life is... our soul atman within our heart is the
owner of the body and it is this soul atman that has manifested the body and not vice versa. The ego within
every human being always tries to contradict this statement but the absolute truth can never be
belied.
If we need to live our physical manifested life... the sojourn of 70 to
80 years peacefully and without much hindrance... we need follow the path of religion. And religion is best
taught by Ramayana (the famous Indian epic)! Following the dictates of Rama (maryada Purushottam Rama as he
is popularly called) one can live the present life to its best.
However if one desires venturing into the domain of our inner self... the
world of 8.4 million manifestations... one needs traveling the path of spirituality. It is spirituality that
teaches one the path to enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation
(moksha).
Following the path of spirituality means trying to reach the end goal of
life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation at the earliest! It is Bhagavad Gita and Bhagavad Gita alone that
gives the gist of spirituality from A-Z. And what is Bhagavad Gita? The most sacred document in Hinduism...
Bhagavad Gita is the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata.
Being Spiritual?
Bhagavad Gita enumerates the benefits that accrue to every spiritual
seeker and also defines the path (the uncharted territory) that has to be traveled by every individual. The
knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all... one finally gains enlightenment in the end.
