Query: Spiritual
Life... One who travelled path of jnana yoga (absolute wisdom) followed spiritual path!
Kaivalya
Jnani:
Spiritual life is best lived having absolute faith in the system of God.
I have observed many people world over doing their part... the daily prayers, religiously going to the places
of worship like churches, temples and mosques but to what avail! Having hundred percent faith in God
Almighty... The basic ingredient on the path to spirituality was missing in
most!
Before God Almighty accepts us into his fold... we need to believe in him
and his creation. Why so?
Total faith in the system of God is as vital as our existence on Mother
Earth. We all have a soul atman within us residing in our heart. Our soul atman is minuscule form of God...
made up of the same cosmic energy as God Almighty. It always prompts us on the right path whenever we tend to
go wrong. But how many people hear the sweet small voice of our soul atman coming from within?
Unless we are truthful in our dealings with all and lead an absolutely
truthful life... we do not hear the sweet small inner voice of our soul atman within. Truthfulness is a very
important ingredient... rather the first important ingredient on the path of spirituality. We have to be
truthful in our dealings with one and all. No exceptions whatsoever!
Being truthful we decrease the dross within the soul atman. As our soul
atman becomes purer... we take a quantum jump in the field of spirituality. We always need remember that it
is our soul atman that has manifested the body and it desires release from the cycle of various
manifestations at the earliest.
Our body must simply synchronize all activities with our soul atman
within. And that is done best traveling the path of truthfulness... hearing and abiding by the dictates of
the sweet small voice our soul atman within!
Having achieved this... we need to perform all karma the Nishakama karma way. And what is Nishakama karma way...
doing our karma knowing well that all the fruits of the karma belong to our soul atman within and not the body.
King Janaka in Hinduism was a rare example of this phenomenon... who ultimately gained enlightenment in his
lifetime.
Practicing absolute truthfulness the Nishakama karma way... one gains
control over the five senses and the mind! Next we need to practice absolute celibacy for a minimum period of
12 years. This helps transmute the cosmic energy within us to higher channels.
Practicing yoga and meditation the Shavasana way and practicing Neti (not this, not this) as
practiced and advocated by Maharishi Ramana... one finally reaches the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi. One has finally
reached the end goal of life. Henceforth it is a direct straight path towards gaining enlightenment (kaivalya
jnana) within this life.
