Every religion primarily is a following of an enlightened master. No enlightened human being would ever teach or preach anything that is wrong. Having reached the level of enlightenment... the soul atman within having gained its pure original pristine form... any impurities within an enlightened being is absolutely ruled out. It is only when the dross within removes completely... one gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... never before!

It is not religion that is defective... it is the defective teaching of the religious masters who have interpreted the sacred scriptures for their own benefit. Imagine the situation when everything contained in the sacred scriptures became clear to the masses on its own. In the circumstances from where would the bread-and-butter of the so-called religious masters generate. None would go to the religious masters for religious teaching what to talk of providing them even the basic necessities of life.

To maintain their supremacy over the administration... the so-called religious masters distorted the teachings of the enlightened souls and fed them to the gullible masses. Most religious houses impart the knowledge of heaven as being the most sacrosanct place for humans to go. Heaven (aka Swarga in Hinduism) exists in the core of the sun where temperatures exceed millions of degrees centigrade. In the circumstances can anyone in bodily form go to heaven?

Every enlightened soul followed the path of pure spirituality. Religious followings are only meant to keep the community bonded together. Nothing much on the spiritual front can ever be gained from a religious congregation. If one needs to know the origins of the man and the cosmos... one need not go to a religious master of the present era... all is made clear in the sacred Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata.

This one single document... the sacred Bhagavad Gita is the end of it all! The knower of Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all. Assimilating the pearls of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita one finally gains enlightenment and salvation (moksha). One finally reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation. Henceforth it is a direct journey to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism)... a point of no return!
