| Query: Religious
Beliefs... On path of pure spirituality religious beliefs carried no meaning!
Kaivalya
Jnani:
There is simply no connection between pursuit of knowledge and religious
beliefs one follows! Pursuit of knowledge becomes necessary to earn a living! To spend the sojourn of 70 to
80 years on Mother Earth happily... it becomes imperative for human beings to gain knowledge... develop a
career in the chosen goal of life!
Devoid of knowledge... the status of a human being remains that of a
laborer... a daily wager! On the spiritual path... one needs diving deep into the bottomless pit of wisdom to
unearth pearls of wisdom essential for spiritual upliftment! It is wisdom (aka jnana in Hinduism) and wisdom
alone that is necessary on the spiritual and the religious
path.
Religious beliefs of one stem from the beginning of life on Mother Earth.
The moment we get born... we follow religious beliefs followed by the family... the parents! Religious
beliefs in the initial stages of life are hereditarily passed to the child! One follows the religious beliefs
sanctimoniously until one grows up.
At every stage of life one can switchover from one religious belief to
another. Not necessarily one compulsively follows the family tradition. Religious beliefs are purely a matter
of personal choice. None should force another to follow certain religious beliefs. One may take birth in
Jainism religion and later on switchover to Buddhism! It is permissible and practically possible!
I was born in a Jain family. I still value Jaina religious beliefs. I
have extreme faith in all the religious beliefs of the world. As much as I believe in Jainism scriptures, I
also value Buddhists teachings. The sacred Quran... the Bible is as dear to me as the sacred Bhagavad Gita!
My goal of life was reaching God Almighty in this very life... there was no reason to shun any religious
beliefs whatsoever!
My religious beliefs... my being born in a Jain family was never an impediment to my learning the inner values of
Bhagavad Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata! I value Bhagavad Gita as the supreme
of all Wisdom existing on Mother Earth. There is nothing beyond Bhagavad Gita that is worth knowing. The knower of
Bhagavad Gita becomes the knower of all.
The moment I realized God in 1993... The essence of Bhagavad Gita became
like ABC to me. Everything that was contained in Bhagavad Gita, the sacred Quran, Bible and all other
religious scriptures became like ABC to me. I had reached the source of all Wisdom existing on Mother Earth.
Gaining self realization was reaching the end of the cosmic journey!
