Ignorant I Am
(ignorance - spiritual plane)

Ignorance is neither a virtue... nor does it cast a shadow on one's stature! By nature... by inherent nature... every single living being is ignorant! Why?

It is the presence of ignorance... the dross impurities within every soul atman that is the cause of manifest life... the form of human beings... all life in the cosmic system! If ignorance removes completely... one reaches the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed... becomes an enlightened one!

Wisdom is not gaining something literally from the scriptures! Scriptures merely act as guide posts on the spiritual journey... the wisdom contained in the scriptures removes... rather helps cleanse the dross impurities within the soul atman. As human beings proceed higher on the spiritual plane... the ignorance keeps reducing!

Our soul atman is full of cosmic glory... but mired in impurities... it needs to process its Karma through a human body... through a living form! Wisdom is not gaining something on the spiritual path but removal of ignorance (dross impurities) from our true inner self as a human being! From the first manifestation to the last... in every manifestation the effort of our soul atman within is removal of ignorance... the dross impurities within the soul atman!

A child in class one is not ignorant compared to a student of class twelve. Both are evolving... one is on the lower platform... the other a bit higher! As human beings we are never supposed to self-pity... the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism totally prohibits it! As per the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... the soul atman moves ahead in the journey of cosmic life... manifestation by manifestation... body after body!

Only after the soul atman reaches the 8.4 millionth manifestation... does the complete ignorance remove from the human being... the prime reason why after removal of the ignorance... one is termed an enlightened one... a kaivalya jnani (kaivalya in Hindi stands for only). When only jnana wisdom remains... one reaches the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana)... and finally achieves salvation (moksha)!

In whatever stage of human life one be... the crux of cosmic life remains the same... reaching the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle! Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now!

In the initial stages of my life I was absolutely ignorant about the affairs of God Almighty... the spiritual path... the field of spirituality! As I resolved to find and meet God in this very life... supported by the promptings of my soul atman that seems to come from within my heart... I finally reached the stage of self realization... the 8.4 millionth manifestation!

In the journey of life... we must never look with disdain towards those smarter and full of wisdom than us! All are evolving... we are evolving... including insects, plants and animals! By helping each other... by providing a helping attitude... human beings can overcome the world of Samsara (worldly life) in a peaceful way!

In present Kali Yuga, the metal age... maintaining a harmonious relationship with all has become difficult! Indulging in positive Karma (Punya karma) all the time is the only solution. To cut across the shackles of Prarabdha karma... we need earning Punya karma all the time. The moment karma reduces to zero... one gains enlightenment and finally salvation!

The whole world nay the Cosmos has been termed an act of Maya (veil of ignorance) by Adi Shankaracharya! Truthfully... the whole Cosmos is nothing but a cluster of atoms and molecules... a gaseous formation! Broken down to basic building block of the Cosmos... every living being is but a cluster of atoms and molecules!

Viewed from the senses point of view... all appears solid... in truth... all is pure gaseous formation! God Almighty is the only truth of life... nothing exists beyond God Almighty in the Cosmos! The form of human beings being the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle... we must never pity self under any circumstance... come whatever may!

Let us take the example of metal ore to understand the whole subject! Imagine one KG of pure gold in a lump of hundred KG of gold ore. This one KG of pure gold is sandwiched in the lump of hundred KG of gold ore. This one KG of pure gold... is pure soul atman... yet, it needs separating from the 99 KG of impurities.

To separate itself from 99 KG of impurities... every soul atman manifests a series of bodies... 8.4 million on the whole! Starting from the stage of amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle... the journey of the soul atman ends when human beings reach the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the last in the cosmic life cycle!

From first manifestation to the last the ultimate goal of every manifestation is... the soul atman regaining its lost pure pristine original form! In the life cycle of the soul atman... the manifest stage of a human being is of utmost importance yet, as a dead body the value of life merely reduces to less than two dollars... the price calculated by Napoleon Hill in his famous books on self improvement!

It is not within the powers of the soul atman to cleanse itself of the impurities dross within... it needs manifesting a form... a life form to work out its Karma... similar as one KG of pure gold needs requisite mining machinery and processes to separate from 99 KG of impurities!

As the lump of gold ore is cleaned... we have one KG of pure gold in a lump of 95 KG... then in 70 KG... then 50 KG... and finally what remains is... the soul atman in its shining cosmic glory... one KG of purified gold! The process of removal of ignorance cannot be explained in a better way. We need understanding the spiritual terminology logistically... not literally.
