Worshipping God

If I had anything to offer to God, I would offer all my shortcomings... my ego... my imperfections devoid of which I would become absolutely pure and gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha) in this life. By gaining enlightenment... by becoming an enlightened one, I could disseminate the pearls of wisdom so gained to the masses.

Mahavira... the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism (preceptor) rightly said that unless one gains enlightenment... there is no point preaching! First we need to gain the requisite wisdom before we can truthfully and rightfully offer it back to the masses. By offering God my impurities within, I shall regain my original self... the prime pristine original form as a purified soul atman!
