Hindus
prayers Hinduism
is a very open religion. It is not bound by the dogmas as exists in Christianity
and also Islamic Dharma. Whenever a human being... a true Hindu is free to worship
God... one says his prayers. Even while eating one can say his prayers! While
on work or even partially in sleep (subconscious state)... Hindus often say their
prayers. Neti
(not this, not this)... as preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana is best
practiced while in subconscious state. Neti is a sure short method of reaching
God at the earliest. Why do we need to go to the temple, God Almighty is everywhere!
Practically God Almighty exists in every living being in minuscule form as our
soul atman within. Religious
leaders often offer prayers in the morning and the evening. The masses are absolutely
free to offer their prayers at their convenience. However... the temples are not
open all the time. If one wishes to go to the temple and offer his prayers...
one needs to abide by the timings of the temple which normally open in the morning
and the evenings. Using
incense, lighting a scented stick is only to purify the atmosphere where the prayers
are being offered. It has no direct relationship with prayers whatsoever. More
than the atmosphere... we need to purify our thoughts... invoke positive thoughts
before entering the precincts of the temple. It is absolutely vital to worship
God in absolutely pure state of mind. Essay by: Kaivalya Jnani... One who realized self in his life time! Kaivalya Jnani... In permanent communion with God explains

Beliefs In
Hinduism there is a belief that there are above 320 million gods. How does it
matter... how many gods are prayed to! The essence lies in the fact that we understand
the true entity of God... gain enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) at the earliest
and finally reach the stage of salvation (moksha).

questions Hinduism
is a very open religion. It has no bindings whatsoever. It is totally unorganized...
the prime reason why it was subjected to slavery for over 600 years. The patience,
persistence and perseverance that are practiced in India are without a parallel.
It even exceeded its limits. Even when the enemy was at the door... they did not
unite and ultimately lost the fight.
