Query: Self-Realization... I experienced self-realization, it happened when I was meditating on origins of humanity. I saw clearly with all understanding what in words could be said as, there is a beginning and an end all lovingly cared for by the hand of God. For a few months I walked in complete silence and truth speaking with God as if there was no distinction between my mind's voice and His. We were one. Then slowly I got wrapped up in normal life again.

I desire greatly to be silent always and speaking with God as I was for that time in my life. But it seems so difficult. I felt God in your words and trust that you can help me find the next step.

Whatever be our experiences on the spiritual path... we must be certain about the primary definitions... the inner meanings of the subject! The word self realization or enlightenment encompasses the entire cosmos within. Self realization termed enlightenment in English simply means reaching the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed!

Gaining self realization... reaching the stage of enlightenment is the end of all... the last in the life journey of our soul atman... a journey of 8.4 million manifestations (an earthly abode of 96.4 million earthly years). Intermittent glimpses into the domain of God are experienced by many... does not constitute having reached the stage of self realization or enlightenment.

Gaining self realization or enlightenment is a one-way journey. Once completed... none can return to the materialistic fold... the mundane workings of the ephemeral life! I started in search of God when 13 years of age... in 1993 at 37 years of age... I finally realized God. Nowhere further to go... I shall but enter the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism).

This does not mean Vijay Kumar would enter the kingdom of God... the abode of God bodily! My soul atman having regained absolute purity... its prime pure state... after reaching the stage of salvation (moksha) shall enter the kingdom of God permanently. The kingdom of God is a point of no return. Once entered... the liberated soul atman need not manifest a body again.

If you truly desire gaining self realization nee enlightenment in this lifetime... you need establishing absolute control over the five senses and the mind. The karma having completely burnt out... devoid of all dross within... the soul atman finally regains its pure pristine original form... the soul atman liberates from the cycle of birth and death forever.

Apart from controlling the five senses and the mind... one needs practicing voluntary celibacy for continuous minimum period of 12 years. It is only then one can awaken the Kundalini fully. The awakening of the Kundalini is by no standards a small task. The spiritual stalwarts... sages of their era like Sage Vishwamitra and also Acharya Rajneesh nee Osho failed in their attempt!

Cutting across the shackles of mundane world... the Samsara (worldly life) is extremely difficult but not impossible. I have hundreds of essays on my website... in which are hidden clues to the path of self realization. For an earnest seeker of spirituality... fathoming the unknown depths of the spiritual domain is not a big problem... but having absolute faith in God Almighty definitely is!

Most seeker's of spirituality leave the path midway. They land up criticizing God Almighty all the time. Not realizing that self realization or enlightenment was not meant to be gained in one lifetime. God Almighty ordained human beings to reach the stage of enlightenment in a total of 1.1 million manifestations in the human form (an earthly life cycle of 12.4 million years).

Establishing absolute control over sensual feelings is a definite necessity which can only be controlled through the celibacy mantra. Simply stated... standing on first floor of Empire State building we just cannot view whole of New York. We need climbing to the topmost floor. The practice of celibacy is the only path... the elevator to the top!

Practice of absolute celibacy helps full awakening of the Kundalini. The moment this happens... the hidden Kundalini Shakti... the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in the base of the spine rises to the top. The Shahastra Pushpa (the thousand petalled Lotus) that exists in our brain behind the forehead opens fully. One finally gains enlightenment forever.

One also needs cutting across the shackles of Prarabdha karma... the absolute unknown factor of the cosmic system... which can precipitate in any manifestation. If the residual balance of karma from the previous manifestations is negative... a bad fate would befall us. What if the residual balance of karma is positive... we might win a lottery!

On the spiritual path I found establishing control over Prarabdha karma being the toughest... for the mantra for the Prarabdha karma is unknown to mankind. The moment I realized the gravity of the Prarabdha karma mantra... I reached the stage of self realization in no time.

The Sacred Bhagavad Gita Hinduism... the foremost of all Scriptural texts available on Mother Earth contains everything for one to realize god within one's lifetime. To comprehend the inner meaning of the 700 shlokas (verses)... is extremely difficult... but not impossible! Having realized God in 1993... The essence of Bhagavad Gita has become like ABCD to me.

At this stage I can only advise you to read essays on my website on a regular basis. One never knows what wisdom may unfold unknowingly!

I saw clearly with all understanding what in words could be said as, there is a beginning and an end all lovingly cared for by the hand of God. for a few months I walked in complete silence and truth speaking with God as if there was no distinction between my mind's voice and His. We were one. Then slowly I got wrapped up in normal life again. I was living a very impure life, with lots of appetites, and despite the gift of wisdom to see the world as it truly was, I didn't change my external behavior greatly. It was like I was a machine running automatically on previous programs of habit.

I was hoping you could provide some words of advice for me, I desire greatly to be silent always and speaking with God as I was for that time in my life. But it seems so difficult, and I have so many desires. I felt God in your words and trust that you can help me find the next step.
