Your query relates to... what happens to the soul atman after 8.4 millionth manifestation... the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha). Do you ever realize as a human being you have only one life to live... a span of simple 70 to 80 years of life... or a maximum of hundred years as stipulated in the scriptures!

Yet, you worry what is going to happen to a soul atman... millions rather tens of millions of earthly years away! The moment the body dies... the soul atman frees itself to manifest a new body... a new journey of life. More than worrying about the future of a soul atman one must concentrate on the present goal of life. Who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation... why not travel the spiritual path now!

When 13 years of age... I had firmly decided to go in search of God until I reached my destination... come whatever may! I wanted to see and meet God in this very life. Leaving things to chance or the next life is being ignorant. In a life span of 70 to 80 years... reaching the stage of enlightenment is very very difficult... but not impossible!

The wisdom of the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism plays a major role in gaining enlightenment in one's lifetime. In the last 150 years only two persons world over (amongst a population of above 6500 million people) gained enlightenment... they were Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana!

Gaining enlightenment... traveling the spiritual path is not that easy. Nor is deciphering the wisdom hidden in the 700 shlokas (verses) of the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism?

World famous sages and Saints like Sri Aurobindo, Swami Vivekananda, Acharya Rajneesh (nee Osho), Swami Sivananda, Paramhansa Yogananda... all failed to get enlightenment in their lifetime. Sage Vishwamitra in the last lap of practice of celibacy on seeing the sight of a maiden woman taking bath in forlorn circumstances in deep dense jungles (forests) lost himself and fell from grace... he also had to repeat the practice of celibacy for another period of 12 years!

For gaining enlightenment... so many factors play an important role. The foremost of them being... establishing absolute control over the five senses and the mind, practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation and practicing Neti (not this, not this)... in the Shavasana path of yoga!
