Introduction
essence of Bhagavad Gita Query:
Introduction essence Bhagavad Gita... Can you assist me with information on the
introduction to the bhagavad gita. I want to know the essence of the introduction
to the bhagavat gita.
Kaivalya Jnani: If one could
total the essence of the entire Cosmos into one book... one Scripture... that
would be the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... the doctrine given to mankind
by Lord Krishna in the battle of Mahabharata. Bhagavad Gita does not guide one
on the spiritual path alone... it contains clues to every format of life... be
it the physical manifest world or the inner world.
Right
from the stage when the Cosmos forms with a big bang... until the dissolution
of the Cosmos trillions of years later... every single aspect of life has been
detailed in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism. In broader terms Bhagavad Gita
encompasses within itself the entire Wisdom contained in the Cosmos.
By
assimilating the Wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... one
not only crosses through the ocean of Samsara (worldly life)... but also gains
enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) at the end of the journey. Having gained enlightenment
and finally salvation (moksha)... the liberated soul atman enters the kingdom
of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism). In
whatever stage of life human beings be... it is the essence of Bhagavad Gita that
makes one complete the entire journey... the journey not undertaken by the body...
the human form but the soul atman within. It is Bhagavad Gita that explains to
us the underlying relationship between the human body and soul atman within. It
is our soul atman that is the master and controller of the body. It is our soul
atman that has manifested the human body... the human form to work out its karma...
remove the dross impurities within! How a layman can reach the end stage of life...
reach the stage of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed...
all is explained in Bhagavad Gita! It
is Bhagavad Gita that explains the true crux of life. It is not the human form
but the soul atman within that is on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations
(an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million earthly years). The human form is but a
garb for the soul atman within. It
is not within the capability of the soul atman to purify itself. It needs a medium...
a body to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within! Similar as
the metal within an ore cannot purify of its own and requires requisite mining
processes and machinery for the same... the soul atman also requires manifesting
a series of 8.4 million bodies before regaining its original pure pristine form. The
moment the soul atman becomes free of all impurities within... all over for the
soul atman within... the cosmic journey finally comes to an end! Bhagavad
Gita spells out the path of spirituality for those seeking God in this lifetime.
One who dwells mesmerized by the workings of the physical manifest world... the
ephemeral world... remains limited to Ramayana which is what is was meant for. As
a human being the highest epitome human beings reach in physical manifest life
is the status of maryada Purushottam Rama. No human being can ever cross the stage
of maryada Purushottam Rama! By following the sacred epic Ramayana... by following
the dictates of life of Lord Rama... the physical manifest life can be lived meritoriously
in all its glory! It
is when human beings desire knowing the real self of us... the workings of the
inner domain... the world of the soul atman... must we indulge in the Sacred Bhagavad
Gita of Hinduism. The Wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita is tricky.
One must think twice while traveling the spiritual path... the path of spirituality! The
uncharted path of spirituality is a one-way path. While gaining control over the
senses and the mind... while practicing absolute celibacy... when the awakening
of the Kundalini starts occurring spontaneously... the process cannot be reversed!
It is not advisable to leave the path midway... either we travel till the end
or do not travel at all! I
have observed many people in life walking the spiritual path and leaving midway.
Their life practically becomes like a rudderless boat going round and round in
the ocean. No doubt... traveling the spiritual path increases mental powers manifold...
but it also takes away from the physical manifest life... the ephemeral world! The
true meaning of Dharma... the workings of karma... the absolute meaning of life...
the relationship between insect life, plant life, animal life and the form of
human beings... all is explained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism in-depth.
Bhagavad Gita can never be read literally... one needs assimilating the underlying
meaning. Bhagavad
Gita is not gaining Wisdom on the spiritual path. Wisdom is not something to be
gained. True Wisdom is gained when we remove ignorance from our working. As the
ignorance... the dross impurities within the soul atman depletes... the soul atman
having become purer elevates towards the end goal of journey... the 8.4 millionth
manifestation! In
a nutshell it is Bhagavad Gita that explains to us... Wisdom is not about gaining
something in life but shedding the impurities dross within! The absence of dross
impurities indicates our soul atman regaining its pure pristine original form...
the stage of enlightenment as a human being! The enlightened human being after
salvation (moksha) finally enters the abode of God... a point of no return!
