Query: Rebirth Reincarnation... How do you get a rebirth or a reincarnation of the opposite sex of human being that you are now? I was just wondering and I just wanted to know, how can you get a rebirth into a male if you're a female or a female if you're a male? Do you tell god what you would like to be or...? I am wishing and praying to god to please change me into a male. If you pray for something you want to god and you ask him if it can be done before so and so. can he really do that or do you have to wait.

Life in the cosmic system is not that simple as one feels! God Almighty is not of the human form... it is the source of all celestial power... something much beyond the comprehension of most human beings. Only when one gains enlightenment... does the vision of God and his entire creation become available... never before!

Your wanting to change into a male is wishful thinking. You manifested the female form... all owes its existence to the karma performed in the previous manifestations! Simply praying in this life may not suffice. You need to act accordingly... if you are to get birth as a male in the next manifestation. Always remember... we have one life to live... who knows what we shall be in the next manifestation!

You are born a female... whatever be the difficulties faced by you... try and understand that it was your karma alone that you were born a female... why fret and fume over matters none has control. We can never modify our past but by spoiling our present... we are changing our future for the worst!

However precarious the situation be... learn to live like a female! Realize the truth of life! Most human beings in life do not manifest destiny... still; life has to be lived at all costs!

Concentrate more on what you ultimately want in life... be it the female or the male form! Pursue your goal of life with the bulldog determination of Winston Churchill... with all eggs in one basket! For once... you might forget you are a female or male! It is not the gender difference that is pertinent... what ultimately governs life is... how best we manifest destiny!

Born a female... live like a female... do the best you can in the present circumstances! No one stops you from praying to God for manifesting a male form in the next manifestation... but what of now... the present life! Most accomplishments in life that can be undertaken as a male can also be accomplished by females.

One thing is certain... to travel the path of pure spirituality... it is the male form that dominates. Thousands... rather millions of males might have gained enlightenment on Mother Earth but only two women in the history of mankind gained enlightenment. They were Gargi and Maitreyi... the wife of famous Sage Jnanavalakya... the compiler of Brihadaranakya Upanishad.

The famous Gargi and Maitreyi colleges in New Delhi, India are reminiscent of the values attached to these two famous Indian ladies. If Gargi and Maitreyi can do it... so can others! The path is extremely difficult... uncharted and unknown... yet, some do travel without fear or doubt. I started in search of God 11 years of age... at 37 I finally realized God in my lifetime.

In the female form it is very difficult to gain enlightenment. The imbibed feeling of Moha (deep emotional attachment) prohibits womenfolk from gaining enlightenment easily. Devoid of Moha... the society could not have survived in the present form. It is the presence of Moha that keeps the society... the community bonded together!

Other than gaining enlightenment... there is nothing on Mother Earth that a female cannot do! The spark of divinity that exists within every woman represents the feminine power! Every woman is born in the image of Mother Earth... the feminine aspect of life! In absence of Mother Earth... no soul atman could manifest a body.

For the system to exist... for God Almighty to exist... the existence of life supporting planets like Mother Earth is a necessity. It is only when planets like Mother Earth form... the hurtling souls' atmans in the Cosmos manifest life. After passing through a chain of 8.4 million manifestations on the whole... every soul atman finally liberates self from the cycle of birth and death.

Be it the male or female form... the ultimate goal of life is reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana). Thereafter... the liberated soul atman gains salvation (moksha) and finally enters the kingdom of God... the abode of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism).

At this stage of life do not brood over the physical manifest form. Always remember... the journey of life is undertaken by our soul atman within and not the human form. It is not within the capacity of the human form to manifest a soul atman. Every soul atman manifests the human form to work out its karma... remove the dross impurities within!
