Self
realization Buddha maharishi Ramana Query:
Self realization Buddha maharishi Ramana... I am sorry I mistook you for old Kalki.
What has the Bhagavad Gita or any religious book got to do with self realization.
Ramana became self realized without reading any book. Look the moment someone
identifies with India or any other country he becomes suspect. What does it matter
to what country one belongs. You get belief systems all over the world even in
the remotest corners of the earth. One belief system is good as any other. To
someone born in India Hinduism might seem like the best religion. Take
the Buddha, he realized God (attained enlightenment) but he did not glorify any
religion. He never said Hinduism had any more value than any other religion. To
me I am just a human being and I am not proud to be an Indian or ashamed to be
one. It matters not to me to what race I belong. The first thing about becoming
realized is that you realize that you are not the body, you are an eternal being
who has no identity. Take Ramana he showed little or no interest in the Independence
because he had no sense of self. To him it mattered not whether India remained
independent or not. Look I am a seeker after the truth and if you have truly realized
god then you can help people like me to realize him too.
Kaivalya Jnani:
Do we truly believe
in our powers of judgement... judging those who gained self realization
in their lifetime! Self realization in other words stands for enlightenment!
Reaching the stage of self realization announces the soul atman
within reaching the end of cosmic journey... the 8.4 millionth manifestation
when the liberated soul atman regains its original prime pure pristine
form!
Reaching the
stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) announces reaching the end
stage of life... the last in the cosmic life cycle! One becomes
a Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or prophet Mohammed! In
the last about 150 years only two persons gained enlightenment (amongst
6500 million people living on Mother Earth)... Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa
and Maharishi Ramana!
Both
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana initially took the Bhakti Yoga
route. Finally they switched over to the path of jnana yoga... the path of absolute
wisdom! At the end of the journey... the spiritual path... both gained enlightenment
and finally salvation (moksha). For
an ordinary mortal... understanding the crux of self realization nay enlightenment
is simply not possible! Similar as standing on the first floor of Empire State
building one can never view the whole of New York... we need climbing the top!
It was not within the powers of Swami Vivekananda to analyze his master... but
sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa knew all about Swami Vivekananda from a to z. Maharishi
Ramana followed the path of Bhagavad Gita bit by bit... knowingly or unknowingly!
In absence of the wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... none on Mother
Earth can gained enlightenment in one's lifetime... it simply is not possible!
The knower of Bhagavad Gita finally becomes the knower of all... gains omniscience
forever! The path
of Neti (not is, not this) preached and advocated by Maharishi Ramana is a sure
shot method of reaching God in ones lifetime. The path of Neti advocated by Bhagavad
Gita is necessitated on the spiritual path to cut short the spiritual journey.
One never climbs a high-rise by stairs... we normally take the elevator! Bhagavad
Gita... the most sacred scripture of Hinduism on Mother Earth is the foremost
of all scriptures. Lord Krishna... who advocated the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to
mankind in the battle of Mahabharata came about 3600 years before. Followed him
Mahavira... the 24th Tirthankara of Jainism (preceptor)! Followed
Mahavira... then Gautama Buddha! Then Jesus Christ... Prophet Mohammed and finally
in the last about 150 years Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharishi Ramana! The
path of spirituality is absolutely clear. Without assimilating the wisdom contained
in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism... one reaches nowhere! As
stated by you J. Krishnamurti., Nisargadatta, Papaji stand nowhere on the spiritual
path. The path of enlightenment is not what you visualize to be! It is beyond
the powers of normal human beings to assess the capabilities of an enlightened
one! Furthermore, Hinduism is never referred to as a religion... it is simply
a way of life! The
people living beyond River Indus were pronounced Hindus by attackers from west.
The Muslim tribes pronounced H for I. Hinduism is primarily following the dictates
of Bhagavad Gita... an amalgamation of various faiths and beliefs... the prime
reason why Hinduism is termed as a way of life! Hinduism is also termed as Sanatana
Dharma... something that exists from times immemorial! People
living in India do not compulsorily follow one religion. Every Hindu is free to
follow any religion path or creed! I was born a Jain yet; the teachings of Bhagavad
Gita are the foremost for me. This fact is not digestible to most Jaina monks...
does it truly matter! Born in Jain religion... I followed the dictates of Bhagavad
Gita... the doctrine given to mankind by Lord Krishna in Mahabharata. I never
was wrong... I finally reached the end of cosmic life! The
path of spirituality is traveled all alone. Similar as a teacher cannot impart
the teachings to a student forcibly. Every student has to travel the path step-by-step...
class by class! The onus of learning lay with the student and not the teacher.
Your assumption that having realized God... I can impart anyone anything is absolutely
wrong... such things can never be! Can
the people living in the west ever understand Bhagavad Gita! Yes... they do not
understand the contents of Bhagavad Gita yet, they live Bhagavad Gita in daily
life! I recently had an opportunity to spend above three months in USA. I saw
most Americans living, drinking, eating Bhagavad Gita all the time. Indians
talk of Bhagavad Gita... but never follow the dictates of Bhagavad Gita in practical
life! Americans... do not know the contents of Bhagavad Gita... yet follow every
routine detailed in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita! The feeling of brotherhood... the
community feeling... the law and order situation is beyond parallel... the prime
reason why USA is superpower number one. You
desire crossing the threshold of spiritual life... yet, do not seem to understand
ABC of it. The prime purport of Bhagavad Gita lay not in the physical manifested
itself... but the journey of soul atman... the cycle of 8.4 million manifestations
by the soul atman within! Our soul atman is the master and controller of the body...
the human form and not vice versa! Swami
Vivekananda never gained self realization in his lifetime. When Sri Ramakrishna
Paramhansa asked Swami Vivekananda the goal of his life... he was absolutely clear...
serving the community at its best! He was never after searching for God in life!
Forming a goal in life is of utmost importance... having a goal is journey half
covered! In the
field of spirituality... simply by wishing or desiring... one never gains anything
in life! Whatever India is today... every single citizen of India has contributed
to that! No point criticizing one... all are collectively to blame for the present
chaos! In simpler terms... it is beyond the capacity of one to judge others! By
controlling all the five senses and the mind in totality... by practicing absolute
celibacy for a period of 12 years in continuation... by practicing Neti (not this,
not this) the Shavasana way of yoga... one finally awakens the Kundalini shakti
and crosses the ephemeral world... the ocean of Samsara (worldly life) forever! In
the human form we have a journey of 12.4 million earthly years to reach the stage
of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)... what value
of 70 to 80 years in the life span of 12.4 million earthly years in the life of
our soul atman! The spiritual path... the uncharted spiritual journey is not that
simple as it seems! Fathoming
the depth of wisdom contained in the Sacred Bhagavad Gita... reading in between
the lines of 700 shlokas (verses) is difficult... not impossible! The human form
is the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle. It is only in the human
form... our soul atman within liberates itself from the cycle of birth and death
forever. Liberating
our soul atman within... entering the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth) is the end
goal of all forms of life! The moment human beings gained enlightenment and finally
salvation... all is over for the soul atman within! Having entered the kingdom
of God... a point of no return... a liberated soul atman devoid of all dross impurities
within need not manifest karma... manifest a body again! The
day I reached the stage of self realization... I became Vijay Kumar. Writing my
name as Vijay Kumar Jain carried no meaning as all religions became the same to
me! Having reached the end goal of life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation...
I am simply imparting the wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to serious seekers of spirituality. May
God bless you in understanding the intricacies of the spiritual world!

are honest and in search of the truth ?
To me it matters not whether India
becomes a super power or not. Whether we can provide toilets for those who haven't
any is more important. Removing the caste system and other evils like hunger should
be given priority. America and Britain became great not only because of their
wealth but because of their wisdom and learning and their contributions to the
progress of mankind. We can may be at the most ape them but we can never become
like them. Take the fat and greedy politicians in India for instance, they have
money but no class or education. If India became a super power it would be the
greatest tragedy to befall the world. Imagine the whole world becoming a stinking
chaotic mess like India. Cows and buffaloes and pigs running amuck. God save the
world. Honestly even if India sank beneath the sea the loss of this country would
not be felt by the rest of the world. It has contributed nothing to the progress
of the human race. Why Indians despite being the poorest and dirtiest people in
the world have such an inflated opinion of themselves beats me. The hypocricy
of people like you amazes me. |
