Good karma and virtues form food... nourishment for the soul atman! Only through the complex process of karma... virtues gained in life does the soul atman within proceed ahead in its cosmic journey! The ultimate goal of life for the soul atman within is eradication of the impurities... the dross within!

Our soul atman is the master and controller of our body. It is our soul atman that has manifested the body to work out its karma... remove the impurities within! It is not within the capability of the body to manifest a soul atman! It is our soul atman that is on its cosmic journey of 8.4 million manifestations altogether!

Our soul atman is source of cosmic energy... much beyond the comprehension of human beings! Only enlightened souls understand the exact nature of soul atman. Every soul atman starts its cosmic journey as an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle. It further evolves into insect life, plant life and animal life and finally the form of a human being!

Only as a human being... the soul atman within reaches the manifest goal of life... the 8.4 million manifestation! Only in the human form does the soul atman within gain permanent liberation from the cycle of birth and death. The moment a human being gains enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)... all is over for the soul atman within!

Regaining its lost original pure pristine form... Is the only goal of soul atman within! Manifesting a body after another is the real essence of life. The human form is reached after the soul atman manifests a series of 7.3 million manifestations in the insect, plant and animal forms. In the human form alone we have 1.1 million manifestations.

To get out of the clutches of Samsara (worldly life) and reach the stage of enlightenment... human beings need to reduce the dross within gradually. The moment complete dross removes... the soul atman reaches the cosmic end of life and gains entry into the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism).
