I not only believe that our soul atman lives on after the death of the body... I am practically a living example of that! Having realized God in 1993... I reached the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! This is my last life as a soul atman! Having gained absolute purity I have nowhere else to go but to the kingdom of God (aka Vaikunth in Hinduism). I have reached the Mount Everest of my spiritual pursuit!

In the cosmic system every soul atman since inception of the new cosmos passes through a phase of 8.4 million manifestations before one reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation! In practical terms one has finally gained enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and salvation (moksha). The prime reason for every soul atman to manifest a body is to work out its karma... remove the dross within!

No soul atman can remove the impurities within on its own. Similar as the metal within an ore cannot purify itself on its own. As the metal requires the requisite mining processes to separate itself from the ore... the soul atman requires manifesting a chain of bodies to shed the impurities within. Starting the cosmic life as an amoeba, the soul atman further manifests as insect life, plant life, and animal life and finally the form of a human being!

No soul atman ever is good or bad. It is the body that works out the karma. Those indulging in wanton desires and materialistic riches invoke negative thoughts from the reservoir of mind minus. Those with a sunny disposition and godly thinking invoke positive thoughts from the reservoir of mind plus. It is the invocation of thoughts from the reservoir of mind plus or mind minus that makes us good or bad.

God never interferes with the creation of his. It does not have a bodily form like human beings. It is pure cosmic energy. God Almighty always acts as a Dhrista (onlooker). Everything in the cosmic system is governed by the doctrine of karma... as we sow so shall we get... nothing less or more! God never forgives one. To seek forgiveness... one needs to do karma accordingly! In the cosmic system there never are free lunches! All is the result of a system that cannot err!
