Our soul atman is not a spirit roaming freely without a physical home in the Cosmos. Our soul atman is the real essence of life... it is our soul atman that has manifested the body and not vice versa. It is not within the capability of a body to manifest a soul atman.

After the occurrence of the big bang... all souls' atmans in the Cosmos hurtle down the cosmic journey at unimaginable speeds. As the Rolling Ball gathers moss... these souls' atmans also gather impurities on the way. To cleanse themselves... to regain their original pure pristine form all souls atmans manifest a cycle of 8.4 million bodies (an earthly life cycle of 96.4 million years).

Starting the journey as an amoeba (single cell formation)... the first manifestation in the cosmic life cycle... it further evolves into multi-cell formation, then insect life, plant life, animal life and finally the form of a human being. It is only as a human being our soul atman within reaches the last leg of cosmic life... the 8.4 millionth manifestation by reaching the stage of enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha).

Having gained salvation... our soul atman liberates forever from the cycle of birth and death and goes back to the kingdom of God forever (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return! From the first manifestation to the last... the 8.4 millionth manifestation... the crux of life is to remove the dross within our soul atman by performing the requisite karma. This is the real essence of life.

I not only believe that our soul atman lives on after the death of the body... I am practically a living example of that! Having realized God in 1993...
