Spirituality not Religion

To be spiritual... is following the path of God. Religion is a ritual... a following!

Spirituality provides Inner peace... religion outer happiness!

Spirituality is understanding the truth of our soul atman within our heart. Religion is living peacefully amongst the community.

Spirituality is reading the Bhagavad Gita and assimilating the pearls of wisdom therein. Religion is going to the temples, churches or mosque and praying to God. Whether you get anything in return is not the question. It is simply abiding by the dictates of the elders.

Being spiritual means pursuing enlightenment as the end goal of life. Following religion is living in harmony and worshipping God. On the contrary... spirituality makes one become a man god like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed.

Praying is asking for the grace of God for fulfilling worldly needs. It has no relationship whatsoever with talking to God. One can talk to God only after reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi.
