  Jainism Lord Mahavira Tirthankara: This is further to the query about Jainism and Lord Mahavira being the last tirthankara. In one of your posts you said that Hinduism came before Jainism and Lord Krishna came before Mahavira, but I being Jain, was told that ninth tirthankara Bhagwan Naminath was Lord Krishna's uncle and Adinath 1st tirthankara was his great great grandfather....I am not sure of generations, but they were related and hence Krishna belonged to tirthankara nam gotra, because of his deeds, he is still not given the status of bhagwan even though he is very powerful and regarded as supreme power. In the next 24 tirthankaras, Lord Krishna and Ravana will be one of the tirthankaras.
